Sales & Persuasion

Sales & Persuasion skills for your AI agent.

Six skills spanning the money conversation end to end: filling the pipeline, framing the offer, setting the price, running the room, and converting the page. Predictable Revenue splits prospecting from closing and works pipeline math backwards from a revenue number. Monetizing Innovation validates willingness to pay while the product is still a concept. $100M Offers rebuilds the package around the Value Equation. Negotiation supplies labels, mirrors, calibrated questions and the Ackerman model. CRO Methodology turns each discovered objection into a ranked, testable hypothesis. Influence Psychology explains the mechanism under all of it.

The practical change is that your agent stops optimizing the wrong layer. Asked to “improve conversion,” an unequipped agent proposes button colors and urgency banners. With these it builds an objection-and-counter-objection table for trust, price, fit, timing and effort, places each counter at the point of friction, tells you when a countdown that resets on reload is costing you credibility, and says plainly when the offer — not the page — is what’s losing the deal.

Which sales skill should I start with?

Find where the money conversation breaks. There aren’t enough conversations at all, and every good month traces back to something that happened to you → Predictable Revenue, which separates the people who find deals from the people who close them. Conversations happen and end in a split-the-difference compromise both sides resent → Negotiation. Buyers keep calling it expensive and your only reflex is a discount → $100M Offers, which rebuilds the bonuses, guarantee and name rather than the number. You’ve never actually checked what anyone will pay → Monetizing Innovation, which sorts features into leaders, fillers and killers before the roadmap is committed. Traffic is healthy, the funnel leaks and nobody can say at which step → CRO Methodology, which researches the reason before it tests anything. The page has testimonials and a logo bar and still gives a stranger no reason to trust you → Influence Psychology.

The pairing that compounds is Monetizing Innovation then $100M Offers, in that order: find out what the market will bear, then build a package worth that price. Inverting them is the classic mistake — a beautifully stacked offer at a price nobody validated. Add CRO Methodology once the offer is right and the page is still losing people; it works on the surface, not the substance.

All 6 Sales & Persuasion skills

$100M Offers

$100M Offers — Alex Hormozi

The $100M Offers skill turns Alex Hormozi’s Value Equation into something your AI agent runs against your actual offer. It scores dream outcome, perceived likelihood, time delay and effort, then rebuilds the package — objection-killing bonuses, a guarantee that reverses the risk, a name assembled with the MAGIC formula.

Negotiation

Never Split the Difference — Chris Voss

Negotiation packages Chris Voss’s Never Split the Difference — the toolkit he used as the FBI’s lead international hostage negotiator — into a skill your agent loads before a hard conversation. It drafts labels, mirrors and calibrated questions, runs an accusation audit over your weak points, and plans concessions using the Ackerman model.

  • Tactical Empathy
  • Labeling & Mirroring
  • Calibrated Questions

Influence Psychology

Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion — Robert Cialdini

Built on Robert Cialdini’s Influence, the Influence Psychology skill teaches your AI agent the levers behind why people say yes — reciprocity, commitment, social proof, authority, liking, scarcity and unity — then puts them to work auditing and rewriting real pages, emails and onboarding flows, flagging anything that crosses from persuasion into manipulation.

  • Social Proof
  • Authority

Predictable Revenue

Predictable Revenue — Aaron Ross

Predictable Revenue is a free AI agent skill built on Aaron Ross’s book, the outbound system behind Salesforce’s growth. It has your agent split prospecting from closing, define exactly who to target, write Cold Calling 2.0 referral emails that ask for a name rather than a meeting, and run the pipeline arithmetic backwards from a revenue goal.

  • Role Specialization

CRO Methodology

Making Websites Win — Karl Blanks & Ben Jesson

CRO Methodology hands your AI agent the process Karl Blanks and Ben Jesson run at Conversion Rate Experts, from Making Websites Win. Rather than guessing at button colours, it researches why visitors leave — analytics, surveys, session evidence — turns each objection it finds into a testable hypothesis, and ranks those by expected impact.

  • Objection Handling
  • Clarity over Cleverness

Monetizing Innovation

Monetizing Innovation — Madhavan Ramanujam & Georg Tacke

Monetizing Innovation gives your AI agent the Simon-Kucher pricing method from Madhavan Ramanujam and Georg Tacke’s book: have the willingness-to-pay conversation while the product is still a concept. It segments customers by what they will really pay, sorts features into leaders, fillers and killers, and matches a monetization model to the behaviour you want.

Frequently asked questions

Do $100M Offers and Monetizing Innovation contradict each other?

They start from opposite ends and you should notice it. Monetizing Innovation says price is a discovery problem: ask about willingness to pay before you build, then design the product to fit. $100M Offers says price is a framing problem: raise it and make the package so complete that saying no feels stupid. Neither is wrong. Use Monetizing Innovation to find the number, then $100M Offers to justify it — and be suspicious of value-stacking on an unvalidated price.

Which of these matter if I sell software rather than services?

Monetizing Innovation and CRO Methodology carry the most weight, because software lives on tier design and a self-serve funnel. Predictable Revenue applies the moment you have a sales team rather than a signup button. $100M Offers translates less directly — its native form is high-ticket services — but the Value Equation still diagnoses why a plan feels overpriced. Negotiation matters at enterprise deal size and almost never below it.

Will Influence Psychology make my copy manipulative?

The skill draws the line explicitly and flags crossings rather than ignoring them. Cialdini’s own distinction is between detecting genuine value and fabricating it: real scarcity is information, a countdown that resets on page reload is a lie your buyers have learned to spot. In practice you’ll see it removing more than it adds — the fake urgency, the borrowed logos, the social proof that proves nothing — and replacing it with specifics you can actually stand behind.

How does this differ from the Grow a Business journey?

The journey builds one repeatable growth engine, sequencing skills across acquisition, conversion and retention with a decision question at each phase. This category is for a single named failure: the renewal call on Thursday, the pricing page with one plan, the cold email that gets no replies. Take the journey when you’re designing the whole engine; take one skill when you know precisely which part of it is slipping.
